︎︎︎civica is an agency engaged in research, education and cultural production, investigating the relationship between architecture and the city, material culture, and the human dimension. As an independent platform, civica treats design as a critical instrument capable of reading, interpreting and transforming the material and spatial conditions of collective life. Through theoretical research, teaching and design experimentation, civica engages with ordinary architecture and complex urban contexts, placing spatial quality, disciplinary responsibility and a renewed understanding of architecture as a civic matter at the centre of its work.
